Today, marches for equality and justice are going on all over the world, specifically in America. These marches are stemmed by the recent murder of George Floyd; a 46 year old african-american man who died while being arrested by a white police officer who knelt on his neck for more than 8 minutes.
If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times, we need more love in this world. If you care for yourself then you should care for the next person, irrespective of the colour of their skin, their religion, socio-economic background, etc.
For too long black people have been mistreated, imprisoned, raped and killed with little or no justice for them or their loved-ones left behind. This is not only affecting the BLACK community, this is affecting the WORLD.
Take your stand in whatever capacity you are in and be the voice of change. Stand up for yourself and for each other. We are our brother’s keeper. We need each other and we must stand in unity for a better world. We were ALL made in the image of God. We bleed the same RED blood. We breathe the same air. This hatred needs to STOP and it starts with you and me.
All lives will not matter until ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER.
