January 20, 2021 was the paramount of possibilities as the oldest president of the United States of America, Joseph R. Biden Jr, was sworn into office as the 46th president along with the first female Vice President, Kamala D. Harris, who is also the first black woman of Jamaican heritage and the first woman of Indian heritage.
The world witnessed as democracy stood tall and won the war against tyranny; which was sparked by lies, hate and racism fueled by a selfish, racist and disgraced dictator who previously occupied the White House.
The world is proud to see America take her place, again, as a true beacon of freedom and democracy. Finally, hope, dignity and respect has returned to the White House and the future is now embodied in a man with wisdom, experience, empathy, dignity and respect and a woman who has dedicated her life to fight for the rights of all not being biased to race or gender, class or colour, only to truth and justice. The silver lining of a brighter, more hopeful tomorrow has never been more possible.
